Mousehole is steeped in history and has been attracting artists since 1283. Check out below a small sample of points of interest that we think are worthwhile places to visit whilst staying in Mousehole.
The Joel Gallery
The Joel Gallery features over a dozen artists, most are local and some are from far away.
Apart from the work of the Joel Family (paintings by Judy and Tim, textiles by Beth and photography by Paul), there is also the opportunity to book a painting lesson for any age group with Tim, or pottery with Alice who has her studio in one part of the gallery.
Also in the gallery, apart from a wide variety of original paintings in many different styles and media, there are original prints, reproductions and cards available to buy.
Tyler Gallery
The Tyler Art Gallery specialises in art by modern and contemporary artists and is one of the leading contemporary art galleries in Cornwall. The gallery features a wide range of up-and-coming and established Cornish artists.
