    Waterfront, period Old Post Office, directly opposite two sandy beaches and the quaint harbour, this wonderful period cottage is proud to be a part of the famous Mousehole Christmas Lights – we are the cottage with the dolphin. Children absolutely love him! Watch the seals playing from the cottage windows and go to sleep to the soothing sound of the waves. Spectacular walks may be enjoyed along the coastal paths from the door.

    Snuggle up in front of the wood burner set into a truly jaw-dropping granite fireplace on cooler days. On warmer days, get ready to jump on paddle boards or make sandcastles on the lovely sandy beaches just steps from the cottage or, how about a boat trip?

    The Old Post Office is luxuriously equipped with a gorgeous kitchen and dining area complete with range cooker, wine cooler, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a really lovely, charming sitting room complete with window seat, Tiffany style lights and, of course, the huge wood burner. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a very useful cloakroom.

    Upstairs, one will discover a fully tiled family bathroom complete with electric shower over the bath. The king-size sleigh bed in the front bedroom has a window seat with views of unforgettable sunsets, St Clements Isle, the harbour and beach. The airy and light twin room has a cozy window seat and is spacious and inviting.

    Lovely little seating area at front of cottage – sit with glass of wine in hand and watch the world go by!

    The property makes an ideal retreat for families and couples alike and is also dog-friendly.

    Mousehole has its own natural saltwater pool, is conveniently situated for the ferry to the Isles of Scilly with transport links to the Minnack Theatre, Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Nearby is Penzance with its thermally heated Jubilee Pool, outside theatre, tropical gardens and National Trust properties. Newlyn offers a vintage cinema filmhouse and wonderful seafood restaurants.

      Great location right on the harbor and in the center of town, yet perfectly quiet indoors. Newly remodeled, clean and crisp. Great views of the harbor from the front bedroom. Perfect.
