Tucked away on quiet Mount Pleasant, this fantastic example of a traditional miner’s cottage has just been renovated for the 2025 summer season and has been thoughtfully decorated in a chic minimal style, pairing vintage and antique pieces with comfy modern furnishings and is located just a couple of minutes’ walk from Fore Street and the lively Harbour front.

Sitting room furnished with a contemporary 2-seater sofa, wingback armchair, side table with lamp and Smart TV (streaming channels only).
Dining room with vintage wooden dining table with 4 chairs, small sideboard with vintage style record player.
Kitchen has fully fitted kitchen with Belfast sink, fridge, electric double oven with integrated hob, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.
Courtyard: paved with shed containing washing machine and tumble-dryer.
First floor
Master bedroom with king-sized bed, mid-century side tables with bed side lamps, full length floor standing mirror and hanging rail.
Twin bedroom with comfy twin beds, vintage chest of draws, side lamp and hanging rail.

48) Morgy Broth Cottage
Ondrej & I absolutely loved the cottage. It was perfect in every way. So well thought out. We loved all the little touches, attention to detail & thoughtful gestures.
It was such a cute & comfortable stay for cosy winter nights in . Slept like a baby there next to the sea. Plus your kitchen was perfectly set up for making hearty breakfasts before we set off for the day.
The location was totally idyllic . I loved that I could see the sea on stepping out of the cottage . We could just walk down the little hill to the delightful shops & variety of restaurants in a couple of minutes. We had such à la de da time meandering about through the lanes & popping into the delightful little galleries.
We so enjoyed the beaches & coastal walks. Such a treat to be surrounded by such expanse & beauty. We found the best coffee hut that served the greatest most perfect cup of coffee (just the way I like it) while listening to the swish of the sea & enjoying the waves.
We cannot thank you enough for the most beautiful stay & Christmas experience we had at your cottage in St Ives.
You’ve done such a great job with the place . Love your artistry that flows throughout the whole cottage.
December 30, 2025My stay at the cottage was a blissful treat. It’s a peaceful and comforting cottage. It was very clean and had everything that I needed. The place is very close to the sea, about a 10min walk, it’s also in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from the town centre, with restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. I would definitely recommend staying here with a family of 4 or less. The owners are super helpful, and are great communicators. Would stay here again!
