Situated opposite the end of the Digey, so close to Porthmeor that you can hear the waves breaking when you're in bed, benefiting from parking in the Digey garage just across the road and a moment’s level walk from Fore Street, Penty Men Grown is the ideal location from where to explore St Ives.
Ground Floor
Sitting/dining room. Cosy room with beamed ceiling, feature gas fireplace and an exposed granite wall incorporating a window seat. Two settees, 32" Smart TV, pine table and 4 chairs and 2 stools.
Galley kitchen. Small room through archway with stainless steel sink unit, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Ample china, glass, cutlery and cooking utensils.
First Floor
Bedroom 1. Twin beds, fitted wardrobe, bedside table and lamps. Pretty window seat.
Bedroom 2. Double bed, pine wardrobe, chest of drawers. Compact room with pretty window seat.
Bedroom 3. Bunk beds, fitted wardrobe, bedside table.
Bathroom. Bath with electric shower over, wash basin, WC and airing cupboard.
Heating is provided by night storage heaters and a gas fire in the sitting room.
Parking restrictions: Garage door: 240 cm wide – there is a height restriction of 200cm. Car parking space: 320 cm wide x 480 cm depth although space is between 4 posts. Advise that larger or wider cars reverse park from the direction of the garage door. The largest vehicle known to have been able to park is a Ford Mondeo Estate at 4.804 metres long by 1.958 metres wide.

Great character property in an ideal position close to both Porthmeor Beach and the Harbour. Cornish Riviera Holidays was very responsive to queries. Fresh bread from the bakery and some milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. Everything you need provided. Nicely decorated and maintained. Worth knowing the stairs are steep and narrow but wasn’t an issue for us. Glad we paid attention to the parking instructions and checked the measurements of our car before we went. Recommend you have someone to help see you back and to take it slowly but we managed to reverse a Seat Ateca into the parking space. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
May 16, 2026The location is excellent for exploring St Ives. Communications and instructions were very helpful. The cottage is spacious for the area. The parking is next door which is a big plus in this town. The garage space is a little tight and it's best to back in. Driving to the cottage requires going through the busy pedestrian-oriented area, so the location is perfect for those staying in town most of the time. Overall, this is great base for a Cornwall vacation.
May 5, 2026Had a weeks stay 2 adults 2 teens at Easter. Lovely and clean, kitchen well equipped. Lovely cosy cottage. Fantastic location! Porthmeor right on your doorstep and a car parking space. What more can you ask for in St.Ives? Cornish Riviera Holidays very responsive and communicated well. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again in the future.
