Cornish Riviera Holidays is proud to announce its return as headline sponsor of the St Ives Biathlon 2026, with the popular annual event set to take place on Saturday 6th June 2026.
Now in its 28th year, the St Ives Biathlon is a standout fixture in Cornwall’s summer calendar and a flagship fundraising event for St Ives Surf Life Saving Club, which will also be celebrating its 68th anniversary in 2026. Cornish Riviera Holidays’ continued support marks a second consecutive year as headline sponsor.
The biathlon, which attracts participants and spectators from across Cornwall, the UK and beyond, is a vibrant celebration of sport, community and the town of St Ives, while raising vital funds for the Surf Life Saving Club and its work training the lifeguards and lifesavers of the future.
The St Ives Biathlon is open to a wide range of entrants, with categories including Main Event (17+), Novice (17+), Juniors (12–16), Vets (40–49), Super Vets (50–59) and Senior Vets (60+). The event is known for its strong sense of camaraderie and the electric atmosphere created by supporters lining the harbour and coast path.
With extensive local and regional publicity, as well as strong community involvement on the day, the St Ives Biathlon continues to reach far and wide while playing a vital role in supporting water safety in the area.
