Summer may have gone and the leaves are falling from the trees, but come October it’s time to swap your flip-flops and trainers for your wellies and walking boots and come and enjoy what St Ives has to offer in the Autumn!

Golden sandy beaches without the crowds and the very mild weather make October, a very special time to visit. Why not bring your faithful four-legged friends too?  Explore the stunning South West Coast path with its spectacular scenery and walk along to Zennor and have lunch and a pint at the Tinners Arms.

For all of you budding artists, there’s still time to experience Ad Minoliti’s exhibition at the Tate St Ives which has colourful and geometric paintings and is due to end on 30th October.

Later in the month, let the family fun begin as it’s October half term! There are many attractions open:

The Eden Project has ice skating for all so why not take your children to the Halloweden event whilst there? For those made of sterner stuff, Porthmeor beach surf school is open all week or, if you fancy sea sports with a difference, visit Carbis Bay Beach where Ocean sports will be offering standing-up paddle boarding, sea kayaking or try their new Hawaiian outrigger experience, fun for all the family!

Don’t forget all of our wonderful restaurants, shops and galleries will be open as usual making St Ives the perfect Autumn getaway this October.

To take advantage of some very special October offers over half term or short breaks throughout October, you can book online or just give our very friendly team a call on 01736 797 891, we’re waiting for your call!
