5 Victoria Road, St Ives, TR26 1NY
View On MapTucked away on one of St Ives’s narrow pedestrian-only side streets, Sea Pebble is an old fisherman’s cottage that has been in the same family for 2 generations. Sympathetically modernised to retain the original layout of rooms and set over 4 floors, this cottage feels like the loved family home it is. Retaining features such as the original Victorian entrance tiles and wooden beams in the sitting room, Sea Pebble has a charm all of its own. As if encouraging you down to the sea, the kitchen floor slopes gently towards the back door – this quirky feature being the last reminder of a time when the room was one of St Ives' world-famous pilchard presses. Step outside the back door and you’re only a few yards from The Harbour.

23) Sea Pebble
We had two wonderful weeks in Sea Pebble. The house has everything you need for relaxing vacation days. The location in the middle of the old town of St. Ives allows quick access to cafes, restaurants and other shopping. The Icelandic parking lot is a few minutes' walk away, which is also true for the city's three beaches. Nevertheless, the house is totally quiet, so you don't notice the tourist hustle and bustle at the harbor and in the alleys of the city. In this respect: absolutely recommended – we'd come back anytime!
