We loved our time in Coaters House. It is very much as described and the photos are very accurate. We loved the layout of the house. 3 bedrooms are a very good size, and the 4 th perfect flu adequate for one person. We thought that being in the heart of the harbour was very charming however, it might not be for everyone as there can be early morning 7 am onwards noice from the various refuse removal lorries, workmen and though again we found it charming the church chimes from around 6 am and if you have small children this could be an issue. The upside is that the shops restaurants and beach are within very close walking proximity and in the morning you can step straight out onto the harbour and take in the view which is lovely. There is no parking at the property except for loading and unloading and the one way system streets are narrow. I have a polestar which is very wide and managed fine. There are plenty of driveways to rent, we used Just Park and managed just fine.
September 19, 2026We loved our stay at coasters house, the location was just fantastic a 2 min walk to the harbour and beaches, there is no parking but you can pull up outside to unload we chose to park in the rugby club out of the way about a 20 min walk away. All in all a great place to stay.
