From the iconic Godrevy Lighthouse, sweeping past the golden Towans at Gwithian, to Lelant’s very own Porthkidney Beach and its rolling dunes, this is a truly breathtaking setting. The famous St Ives branch line, which winds through this landscape, is easily accessible, with Lelant station just a 30-minute stroll away.
Step outside, and within moments, you’ll find yourself on the South West Coast Path, perfect for a scenic walk to St Ives. For those seeking adventure, St Michael’s Way, a historic pilgrimage route to Santiago, begins at Lelant’s ancient Church of St Uny, tracing the coastline before weaving inland through Carbis Bay, across the Penwith countryside via Trencrom and Gulval, and onward to the spectacular St Michael’s Mount.

August 26, 2024We have had a lovely 2 weeks here. Such a lovely place with beautiful views. We have walked most of the coastal path and enjoyed the beach in the evening with plenty of time to relax. Hopefully we will return soon.
