Very nice and well-equipped flat – expensive, but that is to be expected in the height of the season. The balcony is not very private, neighbours on either side and the flat behind has a raised platform on the terrace-which is a bit intrusive, we found (as sitting and looking in your direction towards the sea).
August 18, 2026A wonderful location, nicely appointed, great parking lot. Our family of 4 enjoyed this clean, convenient VRBO. Bright, comfortable rooms. Good water pressure and easy to regulate shower. Pleasant seating choices indoor and on the balcony. Only drawbacks were an innacurate listing (missing microwave oven, host has updated the listing) and an ambiguous 'laundry' that would be more useful with a heated dryer due to the damp seaside air. A provided clothes airing rack was marginally useful. One outdoor flight of stairs to the flat from the parking lot, but did I mention the wonderful PARKING LOT!?! This is a game changer if you're driving to St Ives.Short walks to convenience stores 2-8mins, restaurants 9-20mins, beaches 10-20 mins. Easy driving access to roads out of town for exploring broader Cornwall. If you are planning to cook meals, you will need to source all ingredients as the pantry was empty. Lots of clean towels and a nice heated rack in the bathroom. Host company provided extra trash bag, detergents, paper towels, and sponges.
