49) The Green House
Perfect stay and lovely home – ideal location for our holiday!
July 26, 2025We had a lovely stay at the green house in St Ives. The location cannot be matched: quiet but in the middle of it all: beautiful Porthmeor Beach a few meters away and The Tate around the corner. One of the big assets was the parking space so no worries about where to leave the car. We also enjoyed the sea view from the bedroom upstairs when waking up in the morning. We could walk everywhere in St Ives and come in between back home if we felt like it. The house is well equipped, it had everything we needed. We have spent a relaxing holiday.
September 14, 2024Cute little stone cottage, literally 50 Seconds walk to Porthmeor beach and a 5 minute walk to shops/restaurants on Fore St. Really great location. Cottage was just as described and was a great base to explore St Ives and the local area. The cottage has narrow steep stairs to the first floor and despite two of our party being over 6 feet tall we managed fine with the low ceilings in places. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen and a dishwasher and washing machine. The added bonus was the parking space in the underground garage at the back of the cottage. Nice sea view across the rooftops meant we could see the surf conditions from the bedroom window and woke to the sound of the waves (and the gulls!!) We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave!!
