The Bolt Hole is a lovely, cosy cottage in a great central location with the beaches, station and local amenities within a few minutes walk. The decor is tasteful and adds a very "Cornish" feel to the place. The cottage itself is well stocked in terms of kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils which makes eating in very comfortable if you wish to do so. There's also a dish washer too which is a nice addition. Games, DVDs and beach equipment are also provided which is great for those with kids.
There was comfortably enough space for myself, my wife and our two young children but I would suggest that anymore than four people would be a squeeze. I have seen other reviews that mention the pub at the end of the road being lively etc but we didn't have an issue with it, yes you hear music (more so at the weekend) occasionally but not to the extent that it disturbed our peace and quiet, it wasn't an issue for us at all. The only negative I have about the bolt hole is the WIFI it intermittently goes down and is sometimes usable for long periods. All in all a really nice cottage, in a great location and the staff at Cornish riviera holidays are very helpful too. We had a lovely time there.

The cottage was lovely! Clean, cozy and in a great location. Check-in was super easy and we were able to book parking easily nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped and plenty of beach items to use. Our only comment is the wifi was incredibly slow and there was very little signal. As mentioned in the listings, the pub was a bit lively especially over the weekend but it didn’t keep anyone up.

Super cottage and so central to the beaches, shops and galleries. The cottage was clean and tidy, and equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. The use of beach equipment, games and local guides was a lovely touch too.
