15) Landfall

This typical terraced, granite fisherman’s cottage is situated in the heart of Downalong, the ‘old part of town’ at the Porthmeor end of Island Road, less than a minute’s walk from both Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches. With 3 good-sized bedrooms, Landfall is surprisingly spacious and comfortably furnished, with a generous kitchen and bathroom compared to many of its neighbours – it is the ideal beachside family retreat.

Ground Floor

A stable door leads from Island Road into the sitting room which has comfortable seating for 6, TV, DVD and white wood panel walls, beamed ceiling and electric coal effect fire. Steps down to:

Kitchen/dining area. A large, light and sunny space with pine table and seating for 6, washing machine, fridge, microwave, electric oven and hob, ample work space, pine Welsh dresser and storage.

First Floor

Bedroom 1. A small room with double bed, bedside lighting, chest of drawers, wardrobe, chair and wash basin.

Bedroom 2. A small room with double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and wash basin.

Bedroom 3. A small room with 2 toe-to-toe single beds, bedside tables, wardrobe and wash basin.

Bathroom. Bath with shower over, WC and wash basin.

Heating is by electric panel heaters.
