Located on Orange Lane just a few minutes’ walk uphill from Porthmeor Beach and the bustling heart of St Ives, Gwel An Mor is a charming and comfortable maisonette with onsite parking which benefits from a generous private balcony with far-reaching views to Godrevy Island and lighthouse.
Entering through the first-floor front door into a small hallway, you walk into a light and airy open-plan living space. With comfortable seating, a family dining area for four and a well-equipped kitchen, it’s a lovely space to enjoy time indoors. Upstairs, a generous hall opens onto a good-sized family bathroom and two light-filled bedrooms, one twin and one double which has views to Gwithian and Godrevy.

Walk through the entrance to the airy open-plan main living area with fully fitted kitchen that includes electric cooker and hob, undercounter fridge plus separate undercounter freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Leading to a dining area for 4 with built-in seating which, in turn, leads to a comfortable sitting room area with 2 seater settee and 2 armchairs, Smart TV. Full width, sliding patio doors take you out onto a contemporary, sunny, decked balcony with rattan outdoor furniture including a settee, 2 chairs and a small table from where you can enjoy the stunning views whilst sipping a cool drink on a hot summer’s day!

Great holiday home, suited all of our needs for our 3 month old’s first holiday!

February 24, 2026We had a fantastic stay. The property although not on the beach has a lovely Seaview and balcony. The area is quiet and well situated to walk to the beach and the town. There is also a footpath close by that leads to the coastal path. The apartment is clean, tidy and well equipped. Instructions were clear and simple. All in all a great stay and we can see ourselves returning.
