This granite built former fisherman’s cottage is ideally situated in the heart of Downalong, minutes from the town and the harbour front, the sandy beaches of Porthmeor and Porthgwidden and the Island car park. Careful renovation in recent years has resulted in a characterful cottage with modern facilities, perfect for summer and winter breaks. Fresh colours throughout give a light and airy feel. New and antique furnishings combine to create a real home from home.
Ground Floor
Sitting room. A comfortable settee, 2 armchairs and pouffe. Smart TV and Hi-Fi with radio/CD player. Coal-effect gas fire adds to the cosy nature of this cottage.
Kitchen/dining room. Spacious room with reclaimed Mexican tiled floor. Integrated appliances include a 6 ring cooker and hood, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher and a microwave with grill. Large Victorian pine dresser and farmhouse table which comfortably seats 6. Access to area at the rear of the property where there is a bench and an array of flower pots where you can enjoy the afternoon sun.
First Floor
Bedroom 1. King size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, TV with Freeview and DVD player and space for a travel cot.
Bedroom 2. Double bed, chest of drawers, coat hooks.
Bedroom 3. Twin beds, large antique pine wardrobe, set of drawers.

01) Seabreeze
Seabreeze is a really lovely cottage, with ample space for up to six (there were five of us), in a great location for the town centre, beaches and the Tate, and the very handy Norway Stores only a minute or two away. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and was very well-equipped. It is also great value for money and I recommend it very highly indeed. 5* for Cornish Riviera too! Debbie got back quickly when we flagged some damage to a bedstead. The cleaner brought us a lovely loaf of bread near the end of the week.
