Howard’s Way is ideally located in the heart of Downalong for anyone wanting to enjoy the delights of St. Ives and is only a short walk to the harbour, Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, the Tate Gallery and the shops.

The accommodation has been thoughtfully and tastefully arranged to cater as much for families returning from the beach as for those just wanting to simply relax with the quiet Cornish scenery immediately around them. A small area at the Teetotal Street entrance provides a quiet sunspot, away from any through roads, with patio table and chairs provided.

The property is on three floors with separate street entrances from Teetotal Street and Carncrows Street. The Teetotal Street entrance leads to the spacious lower ground floor, with its recently modernised open plan kitchen/diner and additional shower room. . The Carncrows Street entrance leads to the hallway with convenient access to the upper floor and the double aspect sitting room occupying the whole of the ground (middle) floor.

The cottage provides a beautiful and comfortable setting throughout the year, with smart radiators installed to provide a constant level of heat whatever the weather.

Lower Ground Floor

Level street entrance to the open-plan kitchen/diner and shower room.

Kitchen. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with modern cooking split oven/induction hob with recycling extractor fan over and comes well equipped for the self caterer, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Work surfaces of granite effect bull nosed worktops with ample cupboard space. Casual cushioned bench seat.

Dining area. Seats 6 people comfortably with flat-screen TV.

Shower room. Modern 9.5kw Electric shower, wash hand basin, WC and electric shaver point.

Ground Floor

Sitting room. A beautiful and traditional double aspect room benefitting from plenty of natural light throughout the day. Fitted with comfortable armchairs, settee, double bed settee, coffee tables, flat screen HD TV, blu-ray DVD and video. Feature granite wall and fireplaces. Accessible from the first floor entrance lobby or the downstairs kitchen/diner.

First Floor

Bedroom 1. Pine double bed, matching bedside cabinets and built in wardrobe all providing ample storage space.

Bedroom 2. Two single beds, wardrobe, bedside table.

Bathroom. Contemporary bathroom incorporating bath/shower, wash hand basin vanity unit and built-in WC with over sink mirror with integral light and shaver point. Heated towel rail.

Cot and high chair provided.
