Jellyfish Cottage is a newly refurbished four-storey fisherman's cottage situated in Downalong, the old part of St Ives, a few metres from the harbour and beaches and within easy walking distance from Porthmeor beach, the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum.
A stable door leads from Church Place, a quiet no-through lane with the St Ives Society of Artists' gallery opposite the cottage in to the sitting room.
The spacious sitting room displays many original art works and is furnished with a comfortable 3 seater settee, snuggle chair, gas fire and TV/DVD/CD player as well as BT Sport.
Kitchen area. Solid wood worktops, gas hob and oven, sink, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
Dining area. Dining table and seating for four.
On the lower ground floor is the utility room (with no dividing door) with washing machine, sink, WC and separate shower. A stable door opens onto the shared yard, Burrells Court, which leads onto cobbled Bailey's Lane. There is outside seating and space for surfboard storage.
Bedroom 2. Twin beds and bedside tables with lamps and chest of drawers.
Bathroom. Bath with shower over, wash basin and WC.
Separate WC. WC and wash basin.
Bedroom 1. A wonderful room with large windows on both sides offering extensive views across St Ives bay and beyond.
Double bed with views towards the church and sea, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, Lloyd loom chair in window area and a hair dryer.
Luggage can easily be unloaded outside the cottage before parking in one of the nearby public car parks.
