A lovely wee spot, full of character and kept true to the old spirit of St Ives. Very romantic. The bed was uncomfortable (it's a futon so it slumped into the middle). The seagulls provided quite a jarring morning chorus, so bring earplugs if that might bother you! Other than that, the place was dreamy. The perfect location in a quaint part of town and a seaview from the big windows. We could hear the waves on the shore as we fell asleep.

Perfect bolthole for a flying visit – lovely, traditional cottage in the heart of St Ives with amazing sea views. Would definitely book again.

I know St.Ives well, have been 100% satisfied and just adored ‘Slantways’. What a find! There were a couple of issues that were efficiently sorted at the time & apart from that the cottage was beyond all expectations and just perfect for the two
of us. Thank you! I certainly hope to be able to return to ‘Slantways’ in the future.
