Your holidays can be tailored by you when you're booking your cottage or apartment, as long as the owner of the property participates in the short break scheme and depending on the time of year. Dog Friendly Cottages

Dogs are always welcome in St Ives, with the town being as dog-inclusive as possible. There are a host of entertaining activities you can do with your dog from taking them into dog friendly restaurants or walking around one of St Ives’ many art galleries.
Our holiday cottages require an additional charge of £25 a week for each dog you bring and there may be an additional cleaning charge to take care of any mess left behind by your dog.
Many of our cottages are dog friendly to help make your stay as comfortable and inclusive as possible. We simply ask that dogs not be allowed on the furniture or be left unattended. Some owners have added extra rules about dogs in their property so be sure to carefully read our listings before booking your holiday.
All beaches in St Ives are dog friendly but there are restrictions in place. Dogs are allowed all year on Lambeth Walk, Bamaluz and the north side of Smeaton’s Pier but these beaches are tidal so stay alert!
The current order restrictions for the other beaches run between 15th May and 30th September when you can take your dog on Porthminster, Porthmeor and Carbis Bay beaches before 10am and after 6pm only. For visits to Porthgwidden and the Harbour beaches, the current order restrictions run in July and August only and again, allow you to take your dog on them before 10am and after 6pm only. Please make sure to clean up after your dog, keep them on a lead and walk them during low tide where the sand will be washed by the sea.
