Methods of payment

Cornish Riviera Holidays accept the following methods of payment:

  • Debit card payments
  • Cheque
  • Bank transfer

We’re afraid due to the 2018 EU Directive we are unable to accept credit cards as we are no longer able to pass on the credit card fees as a surcharge.  As a small business we are unable to absorb these costs.

You can still use your debit card to book your holiday online, see ‘Book and pay online.’

For cheque and bank transfer methods, see ‘Book online and pay by cheque.’  If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please email us for our bank details once you have received the automated booking form.

 

Book and pay online

 

1.  Once you have completed the "Book property" page, click "Book and pay online".

2.  Enter the required card details carefully and click "authorise payment". Due to the new EU directive we only accept debit cards.

3.  You will promptly receive an email detailing your request which will be followed by an emailed receipt once your booking has been accepted.  Only at that point will the payment be taken.

4.  We will then send you a receipt by email detailing your booking and advising that the balance payment will be taken automatically from your card.

5.  The final payment will be taken from your card approximately 28 days before your arrival and we will send you a receipt and details of key collection.

6.  Within 2 weeks following your departure, we will credit the damage deposit to your card, subject to the property being left in good order. If you have chosen to use different cards for your payments we will refund to the last card used - if over £100 and unless otherwise requested.

 

Book online and pay by cheque

 

1.  Once you have completed the "Book property" page, click "Book and pay by cheque".  You will promptly receive an email detailing your request which will be followed by an email once your provisional booking has been accepted.  This will be held for 4 working days to allow time for the cheque payment to be sent to us.  Please write your booking reference on the back of your cheque.

2.  Once we have received your cheque, we will send you a receipt by email confirming your booking and showing when the balance will be due (approximately 28 days before arrival).

3.  On payment of the balance we will send you a receipt and details of key collection.

4.  Within 2 weeks following your departure, we will return your damage deposit by cheque, subject to the property being left in good order.

 

Book by phone

 

1.  If you prefer, you can telephone us to make a provisional booking  and choose to pay by either cheque or by debit card.

2.  A booking form is still required.  Complete a booking form (yellow page at the back of our brochure) or downloaded one from our website.

3.  Once we have received your booking form and payment, we will  send you a receipt by email confirming your booking and showing when the balance will be due (approximately 28 days before arrival).

4.  On payment of the balance we will send you a receipt and details of key collection.

5.  Within 2 weeks following your departure, we will return your damage deposit by the same method you paid for your holiday, subject to the property being left in good order.
