Cornish Riviera Holidays is a proud supporter of the St Ives September Festival – a two-week celebration of music and the arts. This year’s Festival launches on the 14th September and is set to be the liveliest to date. If you’re planning to visit the Festival but haven’t yet booked, we have availability and we’re also accepting short breaks – check out our properties here. Whether you have tickets already for your favourite gigs or prefer to just go with the flow, you are sure to have an amazing time!
There is a huge variety of events (including workshopsgigstheatre showspoetry readings – the list goes on) throughout the two weeks.

September Festival’s Open Studios

We’re delighted to announce that we have sponsored the Open Studios event this year! This means that there’s a chance to win £100 to go towards a piece of artwork from one of the participating studios! All you have to do is pick up a drawcard in any participating open Studio. Visit 5 participating studios in 5 different locations, get the artist’s signature and return the completed drawcard to our office on Westcotts Quay or Wicked Imp Studio on Tregenna Hill, Café Art in The Drill Hall and St Ives Library and Information Centre. The draw will take place after the Festival finishes and the lucky winner will then be contacted by a member of the Festival committee.

This year’s ‘Festival Film Season’ theme is ‘Music’ which show at the St Ives Arts Club. This year there are also limited numbers for some of the fascinating talks and inspiring craft workshops at the smaller venues – book now to avoid disappointment! At the larger venues such as The Guildhall or The Western, there’s bound to be something you’ll not want to miss.
The printed programme is now available from the St Ives Library and Information Centre and numerous other outlets in town (including Cornish Riviera Holidays). Tickets are available online at www.crbo.co.uk or from the St Ives Library and Information Centre.
Otherwise, just wander through the maze of lanes and you are sure to stumble on something to stop you in your tracks and recombobulate you.
