Dolphin Cottage is situated in the heart of Downalong in a quiet secluded position set back 20 metres or so from the wonderful range of restaurants and shops of Fore Street and the harbour. The sandy beaches of Porthmeor and Porthgwidden are within easy walking distance.

Approached by a short flight of granite steps, this charming and characterful cottage is equipped to a high standard, is very light and bright and has sea glimpses from the bathroom and bedroom. It is an ideal place for a relaxing summer or winter break.

Kitchen/dining room. Attractive slate floor, open beamed ceiling, microwave/oven, fitted ceramic electric hob, fridge, washer/dryer, wall mounted mini-stereo CD system. The room is enhanced by good storage and work facilities. There is also a well stocked wine rack on a use and replace basis.

Dining area. Table and seating for four. Powerful oil filled electric radiator.

Sitting room. Intimate and tranquil with fitted carpet and open beamed ceiling. Easy to set up double futon sofa bed, fireside chair, large TV/DVD system and an oil-filled electric radiator. View across to the hustle and bustle of Fore Street.

Double bedroom. Attractive New England style double bed and wardrobe/drawer set, bedside table, reading lamps and hair dryer. Electric oil filled radiator. Sea glimpses and view of Fore Street.

Bathroom. Very light with bath, wash hand basin and WC.

There are a range of CDs, DVD’s and books for the guests’ use.

The infirm and children might find the stairs difficult to negotiate.

Heating is by oil filled radiators.
