Hardy’s Cottage is a newly refurbished maisonette on two floors in the heart of Downalong, the fisherman’s quarter of St.Ives. It has been beautifully decorated throughout in a very contemporary style and is light and airy in its elevated position over Burrow Road. It has exposed white painted beams and halogen lighting throughout.

There are three steep granite steps down to the small courtyard in front of the cottage and a further eight granite steps up to its stable door entrance.

Sitting room. Comfortable three seat leather sofa bed, two leather easy chairs, coffee table and TV/DVD, window and stable door to Burrow Road. Electric heater.

Kitchen. A spacious room with round pine dining table and seating for 6, ample storage cupboards and marble topped surfaces, electric hob and oven with extractor hood, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave. Slate effect flooring with under floor heating.

Bedroom 1. Double bed with bedside tables and lights, chest of drawers, large walk-in hanging cupboard, exposed original pine floorboards. Electric wall heater.

Bedroom 2. Twin pine beds, wardrobe and electric wall heater.

Bathroom. Bath with shower over, large wash hand basin, heated towel rail and WC. Quarry tile effect flooring and walls. Under floor heating.

Hardy's Cottage can be booked with downstairs Seaside Studio (property ref 66) to accommodate up to eight persons.

Bed linen is included in the rental.
