Virgin Street is a narrow traffic-free cobbled street in Downalong only 50 metres from the sea, shops of Fore Street and the harbour. The accommodation, which has a newly fitted kitchen and has recently been redecorated, is on three floors and consists of:

Ground Floor

Entrance porch for hanging outdoor clothes.

Sitting/dining room. Open plan and beamed with two comfortable settees, radiant fire, TV, DVD, video and Hi-Fi. Dining table with six chairs and large welsh dresser. Microwave and fridge tucked under the staircase. Cupboard used as pantry and housing iron and vacuum cleaner.

Kitchen. Electric fan oven and four ring hob, working space, cupboard and wall shelves, washing machine, kettle and toaster. Back door leading out to small yard with washing line and steps up to Upper Meadow leading to Porthmeor beach.

First Floor

Bedroom 1. 5’ double bed. Two large chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside cabinet giving ample storage, bedside lamps.

Bedroom 2. Full size bunk beds, tall drawered bedside table with bedside lamp.

Bathroom with full size bath, wash hand basin, WC, electric shower and heated towel radiator. Stairway leading to:

Second Floor

Marvellous views over the rooftops to the harbour and St. Ives Bay beyond on one side and panoramic views overlooking Porthmeor and The Island on the other.

Bedroom 3. Double bed, small bedside chest of drawers, hanging cupboard and two bedside lamps.

Hot water is supplied by a gas boiler with heating by portable radiators.

High chair provided.

Barnoon long-stay car park is 200 metres away.

Bed linen is included in the rental.
