Location Location Location! This cosy Victorian fisherman’s cottage is situated in the quaint Downalong area of St.Ives, in a traffic-free square only metres from the harbour. All the town beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and Porthminster are easily accessible through the intricate maze of lanes and cobbled alleys. Smugglers features beamed ceilings and an original Cornish Range. There are delightful harbour views from the front door and two bedrooms. Pictures by a number of St.Ives artists (prints & originals) along with local crafts feature throughout, as well as books recalling the artists, history and people of the town and area.

Stable door opens into lobby with staircase to first floor. Antique pine door opens into:

Sitting room. A cosy room with beamed ceiling, slate fireplace, and mantel over, recessed bookshelf and coal effect electric fire. Comfortably furnished, TV and video.

Glass paned pine door opens into:

Kitchen/dining room featuring original Cornish range. Electric hob and oven, microwave, under-worktop fridge, combined washer/dryer. Good range of cupboards and plenty of work surfaces. Well equipped. Dining table and five dining chairs. Door to storage area.

Bedroom 1. Four-poster double bed. Built in hanging cupboard. Two chests of drawers and reading lamps. Lloyd Loom Chair. Window seat in bay window with views of harbour.

En suite WC and wash basin.

Bathroom. Full-size bath with electric shower over. Washbasin and WC. Wall mounted electric heater. Airing cupboard with immersion tank, economy 7 with booster switch.

Landing, open tread pine staircase to:

Bedroom 2. Double bed. Built in hanging cupboard, chest of drawers, reading lamps, blanket chest, Lloyd Loom in dormer bay window with views to harbour.

Bedroom 3. Two single 3' beds. Built in hanging cupboard, chest of drawers.

Travel cot provided without linen or bedding.

All bedrooms have wall mounted electric heaters. Night storage in kitchen and on landing.

Bed linen is included in the rental.
